New Kids’ Movies and Shows on Netflix in August 2022: ‘TMNT’ and More

There should be a rule against summer passing so quickly, right? Alas, such a rule does not exist, and here we are – staring at the lazy, hazy final stretch of this season of fun. You can take a beach vacation before school starts, but more likely than not you want to soak up the last few weeks with a bit of relaxation and lots of family bonding. And, for many of us, that includes huddled on the couch to binge-watch movies. Luckily, on August 1, there will be plenty of new kids’ movies and shows on Netflix.

ICYMI, the streaming giant, has been churning out some very entertaining family content throughout the summer. Last month brought swashbuckling adventure The beast from the sea and the return of Jack Black to Po in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. Additionally, fans received the latest installment of stranger things Season 4. And throughout August, new family content will debut weekly as part of The summer vacation collection.

So grab the popcorn (or whip up Cheddar Bay Biscuits Monkey Bread, if you’re feeling ambitious), and whip up some of these fun, family-friendly August titles.
